mPesa is Like a sort of Paypal with a Phone Number and App

When I needed to buy a plane ticket from a local Kenyan airline online none of my US-based mastercard and visa debit cards would work. Then I signed up for mPesa and it was a breeze. I used the app continuously to transfer money to people and buy things. You really MUST get it. I'll tell how below.1 Get your passport and some money and go down and get a Safaricom phone number. 2 Download the app and set it up. 3 When you add money you can just bring cash directly to a Safaricom outlet (I always used the one on the 3rd floor of the Westgate shopping mall) and you MUST bring your passport when you hand them the cash to add to your account.
